Hello! I love to travel, obviously :). I have a Bachelors degree in Biology & Environmental Science. I love animals and the outdoors. I have recently taken up two new hobbies which include shredding on my ukulele and climbing. I moved to Minneapolis, MN from Kansas about 8 years ago for school and to play college soccer. I went to Peru (Lima, Cusco, & Machu Picchu) this past March for 10 days and realized I need so much more time to see the world. I have a nice job working in residential energy efficiency, but I'm going to forgo the 9a-5p life to travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am really excited to try couch surfing because it seems like an excellent way to meet people and make new friends. I love learning about cities from locals and being immersed in other cultures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading Cats Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut, but I'm a sucker for almost anything by Jodi Picoult. I like almost all music if it's live with the exception of metal/screamo. The 3 albums I listen to cover to cover at the moment is The Rip Tide - Beirut, Our House - Misterwives, & In Return - Odesza. Also, Serial got me hooked on podcasts. As far as movies go, I'm into comedies and dramas.
