Chi sono
I do my best to live life to the fullest and am busy trying to squeeze as many different experiences in as possible. As a traveller I get a little tired of visiting all the historic and touristy sites and much prefer hanging out with some local crew. I love to dance, chat, listen to music, see/create arty things and most of all laugh. I love funny people and I myself love to spin out entertaining stories and cheeky one liners. I am travelling this year through Asia, Africa, Europe, Central America and USA. I teach indigenous (aboriginal Australian) children, usually aged around 3-6. This means I usually live in indigenous communities too which is a pretty unique experience I can tell you all about if you're interested. Otherwise I'm just a bit of a happy go lucky character that's busy trying to have fun and meet as many people with the world as possible!! 😛
Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing
I am hoping to meet interesting local people from the countries I visit, giving me a different insight into that which I experience only relying on hostels/hotels etc. I am hoping to meet people who are willing to share a little about their country and home and point me in the right direction of some things to see and do that genuinely reflect their culture.
Interessi
When travelling I like to see things that make a place unusual or unique. I love nature and love to see beautiful places and animals. I am a foodie and LOVE to discover food in new countries.
I am an arty person so I like writing and reading and when I am feeling motivated drawing too. I am a reasonably active person who likes to walk and get amongst things. I LOVE music and dabble (very basically) in percussion.
Lastly Im very much a people person - I love talking to people, laughing with people and hearing people's different stories.

Musica, film e libri
Favourite Music: SO hard to define!! I liked huge variety of tunes: a lot of older 70s/60s kind of stuff, olskool 90s hiphop, worldy/African stuff, funk/soul, melodic indie, the list goes on...
Movies: Can watch anything, love a good storyline and a good laugh, but I love quirky movies - Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Little Miss Sunshine, The Fall, Science of Sleep etc..
Books: Again just love a good storyline with good characters but recently have enjoyed Extremely loud and Incredibly Close, Mosquito Coast, The Beach, A Heartbreaking work of Staggering Genius
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Lived in a Nepalese Buddhist Monastery for a brief stint teaching the young monks English. An amazing enough in itself but then the huge Nepalese earthquake hit whilst I was there which took the whole experience up to a new level. Survived the next week or so camped out in fields through very scary aftershocks and threats of another larger earthquake coming but all the while in the company of one hundred smiley, cheeky, peaceful buddhist children.
Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa
A million entertaining stories from all over the world, a source of amusement and laughs, some fairly decent cooking skills the likelihood of a good dinner or two, a great insight into my home country Australia and generally being a good little houseguest.
