Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am in a position to open my door to other travellers so that we can share stories, culture, and knowledge. On the flip side I will be travelling in Europe next year and would like to experience some of it from an insider perspective instead of just being another tourist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A few years ago I bottle - fed a litter of orphaned kittens starting from their second day in this world. It was very hard, and at times stressful. When I began they required attention every four hours, even at night! Finally when they were 6 weeks old they were ready for adoption. It was amazing that all of them survived and went to happy homes.

I know a lot about growing plants and raising animals for food. Also I have travelled extensively around the USA and can give detailed insight on most of the states and big cities. I would like to learn more Spanish.

What I Can Share with Hosts

English is my native language, and I am always willing to chat to help ESL students improve their vocabulary and grammar. I also know a lot of about veterinary care. If you have pets, I can help with basic things like nail trims and ear cleans.
