I'm from England and studying Ireland. Right now, I am on a study abroad year in Akita in Japan. I'm on Couch Surfing because despite having little spare time, I still love to travel and get out into the world and meet people who want to experience more than just the tourist trip.

From January - March, I am travelling south east Asia. My aim is to go to fewer countries to experience the culture and observe life in more detail, rather than just going for the photo snaps.

I try my hardest to live and love what life throws at me and always make the best out of any situation.

Sadly, I cannot host at the moment because I am in private student accommodation, but as soon as I have my own place, I will happily give back to the community this way :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to make friends with people who have a different culture to me. I love meeting new people and learning new things, languages and cultures and foods. I love to be inspired and challenged on my thoughts and the constant diversity in cultures encourages this

Interests

I enjoy exploring places and wondering about to see the local life.
It is often that I am attracted to the buzz of learning new languages and about different cultures, I feel most at home, when I am not at home so being with anyone new is what I enjoy.

I listen to lots of music, but my memory for names and lyrics is the worst. I like pretty much anything from folk blues to indie to classical.

I really enjoy sports and being busy, so right now I'm learning to play basketball.
