Hello all. I travelled a bit before we had smartphones! I'm just back from 3 months travel in Western Europe. Love getting lost and finding my way back again. Happy to meet up with other couch surfers even though I'm unable to host.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh so many...too many to list but I'll try later on. I have a very eclectic taste...a music for every mood from classical to rock to acoustic and reggae and techno. I like mostly nature or biographical documentaries to watch but also love the odd psychological thriller. In terms of books again I'm a non fiction fan but I do love science fiction as often it becomes science fact. Gattaca is one of my favourite films. In terms of books Oliver Sacks is probably my favourite author.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living, working and travelling through all of China and Tibet I have had the privilege of seeing and doing some amazing things in both places. Adored the Potala Palace and the monks were wonderful to meet.
I was an English teacher in China for 1 year.
More recently I was an organiser of the March for Science in Melbourne Australia (2017) and I'd love to catch up with other organisers around the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook Low FODMAP dishes if it interests you, teach you written and spoken English and about Australian culture as I was born and raised there 😊 I've set up a monthly CS Meeting in Geelong West where I hope we can all get together and organise some day trips out to amazing places like great ocean road or brisbane ranges national park.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I do like to cook but I'm a low FODMAP person (food intolerance but not Lactose intolerant) so I'm happy not to cook as well and just prepare food for myself or eat out. So I can teach you how to cook low FODMAP for your loved ones who also have it. But I can also offer good conversation, a healthy respect for you, your family, friends, pets and your home. Love pets so don't mind a bit of pet sitting but I draw the line at spiders there's just far too many of these at home 😉. I also used to be an English teacher in China so I'm happy to help with any spoken or written English practice.
