Hi! I love life.
I go to the University of Dallas. I have a whopping 5 siblings who I love to meet up with when I go back home and I love many things- music (I'm a violinist, and dabble with guitar and piano), soccer, frisbee, skiing, and an occasional jog, the outdoors (every season!), meeting new people, and I am a pretty passionate about my Christian faith, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So I studied abroad in Rome during this past Spring 2015 semester, and I'm doing a little tour around Europe before I go back home. . I have been recommended to try Couchsurfing by a couple friends of mine, fellow world travelers who love meeting people along the way.

Interests

Music, people, new places, and I'm kind of a literature junkie. (I am an English major). I just love learning and academics, and one of my current dreams is to become fluent in Spanish and German- language is SO fascinating to me, and I want to communicate with people from other cultures!

Music, Movies, and Books

Avett Brothers, Sylvan Esso, Mumford and Sons, Josh Garrels, The Staves, Gregory Allan Isakov, Fleet Foxes, some techno, some of the oldies, a bit of pop. I still love the Sound of Music, and any good thought-provoking movies (but I'm not a big TV watcher). Always love Harry Potter, and now I'm into poetry and classic literature. Bastard out of Carolina is one of my all time favorite books, even though it's really sad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Slept with the wolves!
Okay, not really, but I slept outside on the Amalfi coast spontaneously, which was pretty fun. Great memory, for sure.

Friendly conversation, music, and any perspective on the states and American culture, as I've traveled quite a bit around the U.S. and have gotten to experience a lot there! Also, I'm just really open to meeting new people and would be flexible according to your preferences, whether you like to go out late or just hang back home and go to bed early.
