ABOUT ME
My name is Kate (28). I am from Siberia, but now I live in Saint-Petersburg. I was an EVS volunteer in Czech Republic for one year.

I'm open-minded person, interested in other people and cultures, history and art. I'm working with kids.

It's important to me to really feel the country I'm in, from a local perspective. I think that Couchsurfing is amazing help to feel local life.
I'm always interested in meeting, learning and experiencing new people, places, activities.

Hard to narrow your interests to just a few, isn't it?
I love to read psychology books, I have studied history in university, I'm working with kids now.

My biggest interest is a contemporary art. I enjoy visiting galleries and museums in different countrys. Art is reflection to our society or history. It is fascinating to look into artist work.

I love to spend time outdoors, listen to music, take pictures and visit new places.

MUSIC
Music is a big part of my life. I collect vinyl and have a player at home. I enjoy having a physical copy of my favorite albums. We can dance to 13th Floor Elevators or listen to black metal. It depends on the mood haha.

I love psychedelic rock, jazz, metal, noise, punk... Today my top 3 favorite bands are Viagra Boys, Idles, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard.

FILM AND TV SHOW
I like movies by Wes Anderson, Jim Jarmusch, Xavier Dolan, David Lynch, Tarkovsky, Bergman, etc.
Also big fan of old horror and documentary films.

I love tv shows like Midnight gospel, Infity Train, Black Mirror, Mr. Robot, Breaking Bad, Rick and Morty, True Detective, Twin Peaks, Westworld. But my favorite is Always Sunny in Philadelphia (cos it funny and CRAZY) .
