I live in Cardiff. I do research and projects about environment and urbanism. I love music and theatre, especially street stuff and anything ridiculous. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love hosting and staying with people. I used to host a lot on couchsurfing before the site got updated. I also host with Warmshowers for cycle tourers and love the reciprocity of this way of meeting people and travelling. I will be able to host again in the summer when building work on the house is finished.

Right now I'm looking for new energy and inspiration. I am starting the new year with the idea of a project about open water and sauna. I don't know where it's going but I'd like to meet people and places to help create it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Sometimes serious, sometimes absurd. At the moment I'm reading Joanna Macy's Coming Back to Life, the last film I watched was Moonstruck. Music: anything with a good beat, but the stuff with something great to say always makes me smile the most.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Pick my brains about architecture, urban planning, the culture and politics of nature in the urban environment. I could chat about this stuff for hours. I love going on adventures and will share my enthusiasm for nonsense and sillyness for hours and hours. I can try cooking for you, or together. It will be experimental.
