About Me
Howdy! I moved from New Zealand to France at the beginning of October to work as an Au Pair (nanny), it's really different to NZ but I love it here so far. I moved here to improve my french and just have the adventure of a life time! There's so much that our wonderful world has to offer and I want to see as much of it as possible.
I'm quite an easy-going, chill person and I love meeting new people and learning new things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its such a great way to travel, you get a real unique experience of a country by staying with a local. Love meeting new people too.
Interests
I'm a kiwi so I enjoy watching the rugby, GO THE ALL BLACKS! I enjoy listening to music, there isn't really one genre that I listen to, I like anything - maybe except french rap... I played hockey for 5 years. I like beer. I like dogs.

Music, Movies, and Books
MOVIES! I love film, my favourite movies are probably rom-coms, action and thriller/horror.
MUSIC! Like I said, im really open to all kind of music and love listening to different things so feel free to introduce me to whatever music you're into! I do love Ed Sheeran, James Bay, Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles... Honestly theres so much music that I like!
BOOKS! In all honestly I havent been reading as much as I would like to but I do enjoy it, I also enjoy writing. At the moment I have been reading a lot of French history books but otherwise I like mystery, or adventure stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess one amazing thing Ive done is move here... It was a huge thing to do, move to the other side of the world alone but its been great so far. I'm not sure if thats adequate since most people on here are travellers!
Otherwise, I am a tiny bit of an adrenaline junkie! I have volunteerily thrown myself out of 2 aeroplanes and once jumped off of a ledge in Queenstown.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am currently learning french, I wouldn't say I'm fluent or anything but I can get by! If you're a traveller I would love to hear about your trips and experiences.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can make a great pasta dish ;)
