Overview
About Me
I was raised on a goat farm in Southern Ontario with three older brothers and a deep desire to be the funniest (and most of the time loudest) child of all. I am a positive person who likes to travel, write, and eat my way through life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get a better sense of the true culture of the places I'm visiting, and to help me put some money to local ventures rather than just places to sleep.
Interests
Everything! That's why I am travelling. I like food, cooking, the arts (visual, dramatic, musical), the outdoors, reading, writing, and learning. Especially new languages and ways to be the coolest cat around.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a lover of music, far and wide! My favourite, however, is mostly Indie or folk rock. Movie-wise, I am partial to "Amelie", "Forrest Gump", and "Star Wars". Favourite books change by the year, but "The Chrysalids", "Lord of the Flies" and "The Shining" are a few that stick.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It's a tie between climbing the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and not eating the last cookie that I had promised to my roommate, even though I was home all day and totally could have.
Teach, Learn, Share
Any cool skill is a skill I'm willing to try and conquer, or at the very least watch it happen in absolute awe. And vice-versa!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Canadian Cuisine (mostly buttertarts and poutine)
Song and dance (as long as standards aren't too high)
Amazing customer service skills
English and short greetings in about seven other languages
Some really good travel stories.
