I believe that learning languages and traveling is the most valuable thing to do, especially while young. I am open to new things and listening to other people and sharing anything you want to learn about!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Random meetings are sometimes the best meetings. I love being around new people and learning about them! I have travelled quite a bit (although I am endlessly impressed with how much other people, especially on this site, have travelled!) and I truly believe that people are mostly good and are interested in learning about one another. I try to surround myself with positivity and openness :)

I also love being with a local while I'm travelling, and having to ability to share my local knowledge with travellers :) We have so much to share!

Interests

Writing, photography, poetry, traveling, literature, art, philosophy, museums, botany, yoga, politics, books, theatre, languages, stars, learning about new things of all sorts :)

Conversations and walking are also some priority interests! I love nature and being outside as well.

When I was living in Hong Kong I discovered how much meditation could help me with the busy-ness of life, and I have since been practicing and I'm always interested in learning more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many great books... whatever I'm currently reading. I try to read several books a month! I read a lot, but I would have to say that The Hobbit is an all time fav since childhood, along with anything by Jack Kerouac. I'm also working my way through all of Murakami's books!
