About Me
Hi Everyone! I'm very excited to be able to host great people from across the globe and am sure we have a lot to learn from one another. As for me, I'm originally from Michigan and lived in Chicago for 5 years after college before moving all over the place. I've lived in NYC, San Francisco, Chattanooga, TN and spent a year living out of my backpack roaming around Europe and South America. Now it's back to Chicago and while a lot has changed (including the Cubs winning the World Series), I'd still consider myself a very helpful resource on the city.
I'm somewhat of a minimalist and prefer fun, free experiences and adventures to lavish outings. I'm a big fan of Chicago's Jazz and Blues scene and live music in general. Whenever I can sneak away to the mountains and great outdoors I jump at the chance. While I’m here I enjoy urban hikes, the beautiful parks and Lake Michigan which is a convenient 10 min walk from my place. I'm currently learning to rock climb and hoping to conquer Mt. Rainer next summer.
Maybe I’ll see you soon!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
What better way to learn about a new place and build new friendships than by staying with locals. I met some great people throughout my travels and it's only right to pay that hospitality forward.
