About Me
Hi All,
My name is Kate, I'm 31 years old and from the MA/RI area. I absolutely love exploring new places and meeting new people. I am very independent and can do my own thing but always welcome to some company! I am most likely traveling because I am a musician and just need a quiet place to crash after a gig.
In 2016 I was independently road tripping my way through the U.S. (mostly the South) and had only terrific experiences couch surfing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
2018: Currently, I am most-likely couch surfing so I can stay the night after playing a gig nearby. I play banjo and sing and have been increasingly receiving opportunities to play further and further away from my home-base (RI). For my own safety, its probably best for me not to drive home late at night after one of my gigs so couch surfing really saves me.
2016: For a very long time I felt stuck and restless. Things fell into place (left a terrible job, ended an apartment lease, left a relationship, etc. etc.) so I took it as a sign that I needed to go explore. I have been on the road since mid January and loving it. I want to keep going but am running out of funds! I usually stay at friend's, hostels, or campgrounds which have all been working out well but I am ready to meet some nice new friends who can show me a little bit about where they live or simply give me a place to rest my head while adventuring.

I can learn about where you live, your favorite places and what you have learned from your travels.
I can share food, drink, company, conversation, insight, and will do my best to share whatever else you might need.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, respect, and openness.
Once I settle back to wherever I end up after my travels (most likely RI), I would be more than happy to host them.
