Spent half a year in Germany (Frankfurt Oder, close to Berlin) as an Erasmus student (Master in Finance) which dramatically changed me. (Eventually, 2 years later, in 2019, I moved to work in Berlin.)
Actually, Erasmus in 2017 was my first time abroad in adulthood, so it opened totally new horizons to me.
I've met so many interesting people from different countries, so that I become addicted to meeting new cool people and visiting new places.

love to explore cities and places from traveller (non-tourist) side;
hunting for modern (not only modern) architecture and taking photos of it;

Dreams: surfing on a big waves, traveling around USA by car.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

At first I thought that Couchsurfing is about kind people who just give you a place to sleep.
After first couchsurfing I realized that it's all about the people. Now I'm couchsurfing-addicted and can't imagine coming to the new city and living in hotels without meeting locals. It`s never about free accomodation!

兴趣

I carefully tagged all my interests I could remember;
probably the biggest ones now is architecture, maditation (Headspace) and CrossFit.
Just half a month ago defended my masters thesis "Foreign Exchange Markets and Cryptocurrency Markets: Comparing Dynamics and Reactions to External Shocks". Just to be clear: I`m not a fan of investing cryptos, just interested in this topic: studied pros and cons of it, but mostly build econometric model on its reactions to external shocks.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last year I bought one-way ticket to Amsterdam, didn`t have any further tickets or hosts; planned to see couple of cities near Amsterdam and return to Berlin in 4 days.

Ended up with 14 days and 6 cities (Amsterdam, Hague, Rotterdam, Brussels, Brugge, Paris).
Hitchhiked for the fist time;
very unexpectedly surfed for the fist time in Hague;
became friends with CF hosts.

It was my first trip totally by myself and probably I was just really lucky
