My name is Kate.

I'm from Russia. Future PR-specialist and nowadays very diligent student. I live in Saint Petersburg and for 3 years living here and exploring nearly the whole city, I decided to expand my borders and begin traveling. To this day I visited 14 countries. My dream is to go living to Australia and visit such countries as Iceland, Namibia, the USA and Canada.

I'm really joyful person. I like to do unusual things for me, like to overcome difficulties and my own fears.

Last year I decided to go hitchhiking through some European countries to find out what it means - "traveling". It was that time when I opened Couchsurfing for me.

Couchsurfing isn't just a way to stay with someone for one night for free (as many newcomers think). It's a way to find a lot of new friends, to meet people from different countries, to get to know the life and culture of other countries and nationalities. That's why I'm on couchserfing.

Actually, I have a lot and a lot of interests. I'm very curious and you can make me interested in absolutely different things: from repairing a washing machine to avant-garde art. Most of all I like to take photos and travel through different countries. Lately I fell in love with cinema and now watching different movies takes up most of my free time.
