I'm a 30 year old Scientist from Germany, just finished my PhD in 2017. I play Roller Derby in my free time and love being on skates. Due to Derby I travel a bit more often to bootcamps, games, and so on and I love to always meet new people where ever I go. I just recently moved to Australia and will go traveling a bit before I start my new job.
I'm a big book fan and love some handiwork like sewing or crocheting but also love to watch some movies or binge watch series like GoT, The last airbender, IT crowd, American Horror story, Supernatural, Stranger Things etc..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and especially when travelling alone, I love to meet new people. Staying with locals is always an awesome opportunity to get to know more about the area, the country, the mentality... I love to hear about new things whether it's their profession they wanna teach me something about or just their general way of live. There are so many interesting and special people around and I love to hear their story.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music, mostly stuff like rock and metal, but also classical music. When it comes to movies, I'm a fan of horror movies, some action stuff, and sometimes some "lighter" funny movies as well. Definitely not a fan of romantic comedies or something like that, but I love Tim Burton, Tarantino etc.
I'm a sucker for a good book and proud owner of a small library of about 600 books. When it comes to books, I'm happy about every suggestion for a good read (but here as well: please no romantic comedies^^)
