I teach kindergarten in Virginia. I absolutely love it and I’m so passionate about making a difference in my students lives. My school just switched calendars so I have more breaks during the year and I look forward to using those for additional travel. Food is really important to me and a big part of my travel experience. It tells a story about the people and culture of an area so I’m always looking for local recommendations.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really want to connect with the people and the culture of the cities I visit. I think a great way to achieve that authentic connection is by staying with people who live there. I'm looking for someone to have a great time with a show me some of the highlights and hidden gems in their city. Definitely looking for more than just someplace to sleep.
