My boyfriend and I just moved to Medellin, Colombia (December 2019) and are excited to meet people and find a community here. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me, the best part of travel are the people that you meet. After spending a lot of time backpacking in hostels I wanted a more authentic experience of a city and what better way to do that than meet locals! Same goes for meeting travellers in Australia, I love showing people around my city and hearing their amazing travel stories.

Interests

I love the standard things like books, movies, art but my main passions are food and Latin dancing (salsa and bachata are my favourites).

I'm also very interested in history and learning about the foundation of a city and culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

While in Guatemala in 2019 I climbed Acatenango volcano, which is famous for its views of the very active Fuego volcano. Watching the red lava flow, and listening to an active volcano erupt throughout the night, was breathtaking.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have an absolute passion for sharing cultures and I would love to give you a positive impression of Australian culture while learning about your traditions and customs.

The one thing I miss most about travelling is being unable to cook, so if you have an operational kitchen I'd love to share a home-cooked meal with you!
