Teach, Learn, Share
I know a good deal about backpacking, climbing and outdoor equipment from my 5 years working for an outdoor retailer. I learned a lot -- from co-workers, supervisors, and outdoor industry reps -- and I put my knowledge to good use during my adventures, both at home and away! Happy to share tips and am always grateful to receive more insights as well.
I can also share my knowledge of GIS (geographic information systems) and mapping. It's my profession and my passion :)
LEARN:
Would love to learn more about cooking. My partner Joe is an excellent cook (and he's taught me a good amount) but we love to learn new recipes and ideas, especially when it comes to backcountry and car-camping meals!
Currently teaching myself how to program in Python, so any pointers there would also be well received.
I'm a very curious individual and love to learn anything new! I'm prone to Wikipedia/Internet research rabbit holes and usually fall into one about once a day...so honestly anything I can learn about will be soaked up like a sponge! Joe is the same way...we love to learn stuff we don't know anything about :)
