I'm a Northeastern biochemistry major and an artist! I grew up on Boston's South Shore but spent my high school years in Florida, but I'm back home for good now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in sharing communities and love to travel and meet new people. If I could, I would make my home available for guests but I currently live in a small dorm. I hope to eventually be able to share my space with the couchsurfing community.

Interests

My primary academic interest is science (I am a biochemistry major). I enjoy calculus and virtually every field of science. I love to spend time outside, skiing, kayaking, boating, meditating, or just walking. I'm an artist so I spend time painting, drawing, and sketching.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all types of music; rock, metal, folk, international, rap, hip-hop, reggae, ska, punk rock, classical, acoustic....and whatever else is out there. I'm always looking for new music. I enjoy books about nature or adventuring and war novels - Where the Red Fern Grows, A Walk Across America (Peter Jenkins), Slaughterhouse-Five (Kurt Vonnegut), anything by Emerson, Moby Dick, and of course, Harry Potter. Some of my favorite movies are Slumdog Millionaire, Seven Pounds, the Shining, and Shawshank Redemption. And yes, I know they all start with the letter S.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was published several times for my artwork in a local magazine in Florida, helping me become much more involved in the artist community.
