I'm studying for a masters in urbanism (a combination of urban design, architecture and urban planning) at TU Delft, The Netherlands. Before this, I worked for several years in London as a corporate responsibility consultant and had several years before that doing bits and pieces including living in France and India. I enjoy meeting new people, discovering new places and being outside!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm fascinated by the idea behind Couchsurfing, and how it encourages us to trust one another. We need more of this! I also love meeting people when I travel to new places, hearing their stories and experiences and learning about the place through them. And, of course, as a student, it's nice to find a roof over your head based on reciprocity rather than paying extortionate amounts for a hotel or hostel! I look forward to the day when I have my own home and can repay the kindness and generosity others have shown me through hosting others.

Interests

I play hockey, cycle, go walking, cook, enjoy live music, making music, drawing, painting and crafts. I find lots of things interesting so can happily talk about anything!
