Hello, my name is Kate. I was born and raised in Kiev, Ukraine. For the past few years I live between Kiev and Hamburg, my second home. Travelling has always been my guilty pleasure, so exploring new and good ol' cities can be considered as my tradition. Once in a month or two I buy a ticket and take a ride.

Currently, apart from my regular office job as a Dispute Manager I'm DJing with Hype.Mob crew on underground parties which I personally enjoy more than Berlin ones.

I have recently joined CS after searching for a place to stay in New York. My good friend, with whom I used to travel a lot, reminded me about CS and its amazing possibilities to explore places and cultures with the locals. I would love to share my stories, to be a guest and to host whenever I'm in my town. Indeed, CS is a great platform for cultural exchange, knowledge and experience.

During my life I was into lots of activities, probably because of constant hunger for new experiences, curiosity and a wish to find a right thing to do. I have a 10 year background in classical music playing piano. For the same period I was a member of junior skiing team in Ukraine, training for 2-3 months each winter up in the mountains. In my teens I used to dance, travelling with our crew overall CIS for workshops and battles. At the moment I am much into DJing, because seeing your friends and just random people dancing to your set, smiling and enjoying their time is a super pleasant thing to do, I must say!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Mostly I listen to Golden Era hip-hop and techno music. Despite the difference between these genres they are common in a strong, fast and constant rhythm I adore to move to. Basically, 'all I need is the 90s beat' is about me haha.

My beloved directors are Hitchcock, Jarmusch and Tarkovsky. I think they are just hilarious masters in creating perfect scenes and tones of the picture.

Another guilty pleasure of mine is reading, anything from classic literature to biannual issues like 032C are welcomed.

My wish is to simply share experience and knowledge with intelligent and kind people. Being super neat, calm and careful I leave the place I stayed in even cleaner it was before. Cheers!
