About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To eat great food

ABOUT ME

I'm really into good food. I love to grow, cook, and eat food that comes from healthy soil and returns healthy to the soil. I have eaten some of the best food in my life since I've been in France and Spain!

I also love to dance and make art.

PHILOSOPHY

You are what you eat and just be nice to people

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would love to cook, eat, dance, explore, and or chill with you! I like to talk and learn about food. I've been told I have some pretty sweet dance moves so I could share those with you.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I lived with two avid couch surfers in Montpellier and they recommended it to me. I haven't couchsurfed but I have WWOOFed which is like couchsurfing on a farm.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A lot of people think this is "weird" but last summer I raised 100 chickens from chick to three months old and then I processed them to be sold to a local restaurant. I love meat but I had never been involved in the process of turning a living animal into a dinner. The liver pate I made was amazing but I think part of what made it so good was being responsible for raising the creature that was nourishing me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been studying horticulture and working on farms for four years now so I know a thing or two about how food is produced. I love working in the garden and kitchen with others.
