ABOUT ME

Hello Fellow CouchSurfers! Im Kate, and I'm getting ready to start my adventures out seeing the world and meeting the amazing people in it. I'm 22 and am up for anything.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a open-minded individual, I spend a lot of time just talking to people. Living here in Tofino gives you the oppritunity to be loving and accepting while getting out there and experiancing what nature and networking has to offer you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Interests

Im pretty active, I rockclimb, hike, MTB, backpack, fish, fly kites, I do pottery although I am horrible at it. I am always up for something new! I am interested in learning new languages, and meeting some new and amazing people. I love to drink tea..and beer :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I read...A lot. I'm in the midst of Ernest Hemingway old man and the sea, The cosmic serpent, hunger games, and my favorite childrens book which I can read over and over and over entitled Ender's Game.Music: If it has tune I'm interested in it!Movies: I'm not a huge movie critic but I really love sci-fi and anything that the Coen Brotheres pump out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have so many stories and I'd love to share them but I guess the most amazing thing I've seen may not be so amazing to people but it is to me. About a year ago I decided to take my first solo roadtrip to British Columbias Interior for a couple days and pushing myself out there to go and experiance BC, and the most amazing thing I've ever seen is the mountains. How the terrain changes so much between Whistler and the interior. Took my breath away...and then I turned around and came back :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to learn anything if someone is willing to teach. I'd really be interested in languages though.
