ABOUT ME

Chris and I are siblings who grew up in a little place called Tasmania. Chris is a mechanical engineer and I am a paramedic, however we have both decided spending our time travelling is a much better career option. We hope to spend a bit of time travelling through Scotland and the Lake District this December so are looking for some people to host us. Our travelling history is quite extensive yet I find Scotland is the country I have asked for a second helping of.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

So far I have just been a surfer, but we are both young and hope to host when situation allows.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I (Kate) have couchsurfed all over Europe back in 2010 and had a fantastic experience. I think it is the best way of travelling through a city or town and really get to know the local culture and people.

Interests

Both of us enjoy various outdoor activities. We did a trip to New Zealand together a few years ago and participated in a bit of the old sky diving which was fantastic. We also like fine food, good company and a hearty laugh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well its hard to narrow this one down.. Id say the one on the gold medal podium at the moment is volunteering in India - absolutely life changing. The culture and people over there are second to none and I would love to return.
