My name is Kate, born in the UK and have been living in Rotterdam since July.

Rotterdam is the fifth city I have lived in in five years, so I'm used to packing up all my belongings and making new friends. Now I need to do the same here as I have an internship in the city until Christmas.

I'm a liberal person, who tries not to judge others. I'm always happy to meet and talk to new people and find out about their cultures.

I still have never couchsurfed, but I did find my first apartment in Toronto thanks to CS!

Interests

I am a massive fan of Music and love going to different gigs. I also enjoyed being a part of the University radio station, and would love to get involved in that again.

I also am really interested in Art, Architecture and Photography, the latter being something I am extremely keen on. I would love to be able to practice more and find other people who are also interested in this.

I also love socialising, going to comedy gigs and cooking with and for friends - Mexican, Mediterranean and Thai are my particular favourite types of cuisine.

Indie, Electronica and Dubstep are all genres I'm really into, but I'll listen to anything that has a good beat.

I'm stilling waiting to be awestruck - trips with friends have been my favourite travel experiences though

Teach, Learn, Share

I wish I could say I have some real life-enhancing skills I can teach you, but I would be lying. I can however teach you some basic phrases from "the oldest language in Europe" and give you some tips on improving your hula-hooping technique.

In regards to learning, I'd love to pick up some french.
