Hello,

My name is Kate. (Korean name is Jae-kyeong)

Currently I'm living in New York City, working as a motion graphic designer.
I really love art and outdoor activities: photography, films, trekking, camping and traveling.

Traveling around the whole world is my life goal. I believe that I can learn many things from out there which can make me more open person. Also, sharing stories about life and cultures with different people are always fun and precious moments.

I like to be in nature. I did my first backpacking camping in my life last 2016, and it was great moment. I really want to explore more natures in the world.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My first experience was in 2012 summer in Paris. It was really fun to talk about our life and learn new things from the host. It's really easy way to meet and get to know the locals and sharing thoughts. I want to meet more cool people in the future.

3 times in Paris in 2012.
once in Montreal in 2013.
many times in Europe in 2014.
once in Chicago in 2015
several times in Argentina in 2016.

and hosted my couchsurfing friend in 2015.

Interests

Recently I have a new hobby of taking a photo with 35mm and 120mm films and taking video with super 8mm film. I also developing the black and white films too!

I love all genres of movies but not a big fan of horror film.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw thousands of stars and the milky way in the midnight in the Yosemite national park. It was so great.....!!!

meet tons of people while i was walking on camino de Santiago,
I walked for 60 days for 1700km, it was one of my great experiences in my life.
