Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a new couchsurfer!

Interests

Hmmm... I always hate these questions because I'm interested in lots of things! Currently, because I'm studying in England, one of my major interests is travel- an opportunity like this doesn't come along that often, and I'm trying to make the most of it! I love meeting new and interesting people, and I've made so many friends here in England I'm having difficulty wanting to go home! But when I'm not traveling, I'm acting in the University of Leeds production of The Vagina Monologues- and wow, what an experience that has been. I also sing in an accapella choir at the university, which has been loads of fun. Basically, I suppose the more whimsical people would say I'm interested in experiences!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-- well, it depends what mood I'm in. At the moment: Arctic Monkeys, Metric, Muse, The Ordinary Boys, Def Leppard, Kaiser Chiefs, Foo Fighters, etc. Despite being Canadian, NOT Avril Lavigne. :p Movies- it's been forever since I went to the theatre! It's killing me! Books- other then textbooks, I just finished The Da Vinci Code. I may be one of the last people on the planet to read it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

London from the top of The Eye-- sunrise from a plane window-- being a part of an international choral festival-- I love when people go out of their way to be kind to someone else-- and hopefully there will be a few more to come...
