Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience people and the language behind their relationships with the world.
ABOUT ME
Things I would like to think: I'm eclectic, soft-natured, a good listener, willing learner (with a lot to learn), enjoy taking personal initiative, enjoy spontaneity, hard worker, dislike money.
Things that are probably more true: I can be stubborn, rarely match my clothes, think pride is something that should be hard-won, like listening to others in pursuit of understanding humanity, like to remind myself I can be determined by working hard, like to believe in the trading of kindnesses between strangers
PHILOSOPHY
Eternity is a state of living, not the thereafter. Timelessness provides for the best efficiency. How are we to know what is most efficient for the end result if we cannot know the end result to begin with? Nothing matters and All matters.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Since I found the site, I've hosted, utilized, and had coffee with many fellow couchsurfers with many amazing stories as a result. I have yet to meet anyone through the network I would ever dare to distrust. At the moment, I don't have roommates who approve of the couch thing, and so I merely have time, coffee, and maybe a drink to share. But... come one, come all.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've done a good bit of my own couch surfing through other contrite and around my own at this point. Many are just good times in San Marcos. Late night coffee serenaded by philosophy of rock gyms vs. pergatory park, or rounds of quarters... small gears for such momentous end product.

movies- i don't watch many but: wes anderson, what dreams may come, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, chic-flicks have a tendency of... not good.
music- i think my taste has more to do with coinciding experience than with taste, but i enjoy quality, same as anyone. reggae, folk/bluegrass, alternative, classical, etc. shins, dcfc, snow patrol, animal collective, iron & wine, the format, tilly and the wall, broken social scene, blue hit, coldplay, mumford & sons...
books- keroac, vonnegut, c.s. lewis, dostoevsky, life of pi, don quixote, alexander pope, ee cummings, beckett
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing i witness to: The lives of those I respect. Saints surround me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I still have a lot of learning to do myself, but can maybe give some insight into a few basic topics, just as much as any other well-rounded college graduate could. any language lesson or basic skill would be amazing to learn. I'm currently pursuing the arts of wood carving and ancestral skill work ( fire making, bakery carving, shelter building)
