Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’ve lived and travelled abroad with the help of so many lovely people from the CS community. I realized that it's hard to get a sense of a place as a tourist or a newcomer, it can take years to find those hidden away gems in cities, the most beautiful hikes, the best activities. But mostly, to discover how the people live is impossible from a hostel or hotel and the people are almost the most interesting part of a place! I love to play host in the beautiful places I live, and hope that there's some like-minded folk out there willing to do the same for me!

Not really one for TV or movies. I love folk music, world music, electro swing, gypsy jazz, salsa, reggaeton, most things eclectic. I'm generally reading a historical novel slong with something non-fiction.
