About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To globalize street meat as the official Canadian dish. Hmmm steet meat.
ABOUT ME
Some plans I have for my life involve opening a pub here in Newfoundland, travelling to as many places as possible, and buying a boat.
I'm energetic and always up for a new adventure. I try to live life one step at a time, never turning down an opportunity to try something different or go somewhere new.
I love life, I love people, and I'll always be willing to give a helping hand.
PHILOSOPHY
Live life, love life. Learn from mistakes, then get past them and push on. Take everything by stride, and don't take things too seriously. Live in the moment, just one step at a time. Never wait for life to happen, if you want something, go out and fight for it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By lending out my couch for travellers to stay on, not only do they have a place to sleep, but I can also help them experience the beautiful province that I live in.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had some amazing people stay at my place. One that stands out was when a couple of musicians came and crashed on my couch, and ended up jamming with me and some friends.
Interests
The outdoors!!
I am up for anything. I love hiking, camping, kayaking, snowshoeing, skiing, horseback riding, canoeing, reading, writing, making music, jamming with friends, late night bonfires, cooking, painting, a late night glass of red wine, travelling, any kind of drum, making jewellery, making clothes, collecting hats, dancing, wood carving, and chilling at my favorite coffee shop doing the crossword. Loves it!

Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bears, Bright Eyes, Bill Callahan, Deer Ticks, Elliott Brood, The Dears, Fat Boy Slim, John Lee Hooker, Peggy Lee, Carole King, The Weakerthans, Dirty Projectors, Beirut, Kings of Leon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Black Keys, Silver Jews, Yann Tiersen, Neko Case, MGMT, Sufjan Stevens, Xavier Rudd, Kaki King, Passion Pit, Iron and Wine.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was living in Kodiak, Alaska, I was out on the porch drinking a cup of coffee, when all of a sudden a kodiak grizzly bear slowly walked past me and down the street. Terrifying, but very cool.
