ABOUT ME

Michael: owner of Neighborhoodies.com, a clothing company based in Brooklyn. Michael is also a veteran travel writer for Fodor's travel guides, the largest English language travel series. I've written for guides on Cuba, Argentina, Bermuda, New York City, Chile, Uruguay, Miami, Mexico, St. Martin, Anguilla, El Salvador, Spain, Canary Islands, and others. Interested primarily in writing fiction.
Kate: communication manager at Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Kate loves food and restaurants and writes a food column about Brooklyn called Oral Fixation on the New York Times website.
On us: we live in wonderful Brooklyn with our three cats. We are planning an around-the-world trip in 2011 and are looking to exchange stays this year for stays next year in places around the world.

We love to host interesting people and introduce them to a great way to know the real new york city - the beautiful Brooklyn neighborhood where we live, Clinton Hill. We also love traveling and making friends around the world through cs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had a fabulous time hosting CSers! ****PLEASE NOTE that we are on a worldwide trip till February 2011 so we cannot host until then-- but we hope to see you afterward in 2011!
