ABOUT ME

i have sat in a garden and spoke of peacocks.

PHILOSOPHY

you can take a picture, but it is not your eyes..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

my couch was born vegetarian but she is open to all. we have a dream that everyone, for at least one night, will have a warm, secure place to sleep and a sense of something more... couch surfing is kind of like the first step to peace. i'm laughing a bit as i type this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

aside from my childhood experiences, it is null. i was on the train to traveling through eastern europe with good buddy, hoping to utilize CS a bit more...but things happen and you find yourself on a plane back to america.

however, mi casa tu casa.

Interests

people, places, participial phrases. words and worlds. mots et mondes... i'm not interested in everything but i am interested in some things!

  • vegetarian
  • drinking
  • gardening
  • traveling
  • surfing

Music, Movies, and Books

books... mainly those that are printed in english. or in french. or in pictures. i don't want to narrow this too much.

music... yeah, it's pretty powerful stuff. everyone seems to love it. for me, my obsession for tom waits has no end.

movies... la visite de la fanfare, la planete sauvage, down by law.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

the most amazing thing is that i am happy with my life :)

Teach, Learn, Share

it was raining and our feet were cold, so we ducked into yet another coffe house/bar, to relax a bit and enjoy the warmth of a new setting... so we ordered tea, it was cheap and it was called egyptian licorice. it came in a bag. it was the kind of tea that gives you a small saying, something to think about while you drink. and he opened mine for me and put it in the hot water.

"recognize that the other person is you."

so my advice? bring something warm for your head if you travel in europe during the rainy season.

Countries I’ve Visited
