Growing up in central new york, I was always interested in cultures from around the world. Specifically interested in French culture from a young age and passionate about humanitarian work, I moved to France in 2011 to study abroad and stayed continuing my French language skills. I am currently doing a Masters in international action and economic solidarity at l'Institut Catholique de Paris. I hope to work with NGOs and eventually work on my own projects towards poverty alleviation.

It seems like an amazing way to meet new people and really "live" in the city as opposed to just touristing. I am a huge fan of getting the real city experience of wherever I am, a love a culture and above all food and nature keep my enthusiasm high for new experiences and traveling.

Seeing Van Gogh's "Irises" at the Getty Museum in L.A. California, sublime experience. Walking through the Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech, Morocco, vibrant colors and prehistoric cactuses compose YSL's paradise. Wave surfing through the bath water temperature sea that is the Mediterranean in Barcelona and laying out on my jeans as a towel because I'd forgotten one, yet somehow still completely content. And finally, Sensation White in Copenhagen, Denmark 8 hours of house music, 20,000 people and just the right amount of insanity until 6am. Swimming in the sparkling clear waters of Croatia, on the island of Hvar where lavender fills the air as the sea breeze cools you from the sun filled skies.

I am a very patient person who loves to encourage not only taking advantage of life but the encouraging of peaceful means to solving problems and a respect of nature. I think it's important to take care of not only the environment around us but also our bodies, through exercise and healthy diets.
