I was travelling for 7 months in 2013-14. At 8 months later my feet began to itch again. So i quit my (temporary) job for an impromptu trip around the united states for 7 weeks which was AMAZING! I couchsurfed the whole way round America and met some amazing people and had the best experience ever!

I will be travelling Australia for 3 weeks in March. I arrive in Melbourne on 8th March and leave Perth after Easter. I want to stay in the Victoria area for about 10 days, meet up with old friends and do some travelling in the area, and then travel to WA for the second half of my trip.

Hobbies include lots of exercise (when I am at home!), climbing, caving, music festivals, and I got my advanced scuba diver certificate whilst travelling in Asia. I love the countryside and like to go for long walks and hikes.

I am on CS to meet and make friends with people from all over the world. I have had an amazing experience so far, long may it continue.

A night in Brunei after hitch hiking across Borneo! And I stayed in a couchsurfing house in Melbourne. Not sure if this counted because I had already met my host in a hostel in Thailand.
I was part of a couchsurfing road trip of the east coast of Australia, Sydney to Gold Coast. 3 of us met through the website and had 4 days of mayhem!
A week with 2 hosts in cornwall, england, and USA and Canada. Have hosted one so far, of many hopefully
Plus 7 weeks 100% CS in USA and Canada. I had an amazing time and met some friends for life.

More about me.. I am 35 and the youngest of 4, 2 brothers and one sister. They are all married with children (8 nieces and nephews last count). My sister lives in Perth, which is the main purpose of this Australia trip, but I need to explore some more first.

Hunger Games and Divergent trilogy (movies and books). Need something similar now. Have read the first Game of Thrones book, and now watching the series. I will begin the next one on the plane!
Love my bands. Discovered Courteeners this summer at Glastonbury Festival, like music like this and pretty much everything.
