Just like most CSers, I love to travel and I struggle to keep still for very long. Ive traveled through most of South America and quite a good chunk of North America. Bits and pieces of Australia, Asia and Europe. In the past I loved staying in hostels, as its such a great way to meet new people. Lately Ive struggled a bit more with the lack of genuine people who tend to stay in hostels, so Ive decided to give CS a go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im newish to couch surfing, I have been to an event or two and I know and have stayed with friends who couch surf, but haven't done too much more. I do enjoy a good hostel, but now Im more interested in meeting local people, eating local food and going off the beaten track.

Interests

A bit obvious, but travel is my main interest. I love to talk to people about the different countries they've been to and hearing their stories.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: I love to read, but unfortunately I dont have a lot of time for it at the moment. I prefer to read books that have been recommended, so if you have any recommendations, pass them on!

Music: I do like most types of music, Indie/alternative would probably be my favourite, but I cant deny that if a tune is catchy enough, I'll probably secretly like it :)
Really enjoy Australian music, and for the Aussies and anyone else who knows it, I like to listen to Triple J.

Movies: Not a massive movie fan - in the sense that I cant remember actors names, who did what film or what movie that famous line was in, but I do love going to the movies - and dont dare talk during a movie, its a pet hate of mine!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bike riding down death road in Bolivia, getting a helicopter over the grand canyon, snowboarding in Canada, bike riding down the canals in France, watching crocs jump in the Northern Territory.
Its not one thing, but they are all amazing in my memories
