I am a Kiwi who is crazy about her home country but realise that life has a lot to offer outside our three wee islands in the Pacific! I like the outdoors and general fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couch surfed through Europe a few years ago and was blown away by people's hospitality. I'm now living in Christchurch and can accept guests - you must be okay with a dog 😆

Now on a four month world trip...again. I've been staying with friends most of the trip but am heading to Vancouver Island and am hoping to meet some locals!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed with some lovely hosts in the heart of the Pink city Toulouse, then throughout France, Berlin and Edinburgh...looking forward to experiencing more and more. And having the chance to host others when I get settled somewhere.

Life in general has been freaking amazing so far. Lucky to have grown up in a beautiful, safe country and have a background where education is accessible as are jobs and therefore the opportunities to travel.

As for adventure activities in NZ getting out tramping in the Arthur's Pass is pretty amazing, as is climbing anywhere outdoors in NZ and an awesome adventure day trip in Canterbury would have to be Rangitata White Water Rafting which I have done about three times. Incredible.

I can teach you some Māori phrases, cook a delicious meal, maybe even do some baking! And I have a few entertaining stories up my sleeve...and a place to stay if you're ever in Aotearoa/NZ!
