I am so excited to meet new people and hear about their journeys! It has been an interesting year, and I am excited to have something to share with people.

I read voraciously when I'm in the mood, and I am always making something. This time of year it seems to be a lot of hats...

BOOKS: Throne of Glass, Assassin's Apprentice Series, Harry Potter (duh.), Gaia's Garden, Tom Robbins, and a variety of self-help, fantasy, and non-fiction books :)

MOVIES: The Dark Knight, 10 Things I Hate About You, Princess Bride, Lord of the Rings (I had the extended editions growing up)

MUSIC: Daughter, Alt-J, Enya, Regina Spektor, Florence and the Machine, and many many others

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have now assisted with four different babies being born by supporting the mothers and partners through lengthy labors. It was incredible, sacred, exhausting, inspiring, euphoric, and so many other things that are difficult to name.
