ABOUT ME

My name is Kate. I'm originally from the states. I started getting involved with Couchsurfing when I was living abroad for University in Switzerland for two years. I've just finished my Bachelor's in anthropology and hope to continue traveling and working towards becoming an archaeologist.

Once I am able, I will offer a couch to any couchsurfers, but at the moment all I can do is surf.

I'm still just getting started and have only surfed once! I look forward to travelling and surfing/hosting more as the opportunities arise.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch so many TV shows. Mostly American and British, and I love to talk about them to anyone.

I've currently decided to read all of Haruki Murakami's work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've helped to happen was when I taught one of the most kind and best women I've known to learn how to swim all the way across a pool! Every time I watch her swim now it is a reminder that I have played a role in her life and happiness and it makes me really happy!

Teach, Learn, Share

I studied anthropology, so I love to have discussions about those types of things. I can teach about the "real" New Jersey, as it is where I've lived most of my life. I would love to be someone just to listen to anything you have to say!
