About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to bring music to people everywhere!

ABOUT ME

I'm a student currently, studying music and education. May is the finish line. :) I also make coffee in the morning for people that often look much less satisfied with their lives than I'd think they would be. I love traveling and learning and deep interaction with others. I can't wait to see what the rest of life holds.

PHILOSOPHY

pursue truth while being true to yourself and truly kind to others

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted some fascinating folks here in little 'ol Columbia, SC! Hosting is such a great way to travel without ever leaving home--the conversation has always been wonderful! I've also done some non CS surfing in New York and elsewhere!

Music, Movies, and Books

music~Kat Edmondson, Melody Gardot, Celia Bartoli, Oren Lavie, Billy Joel, and so, so, so much more

movies~Inception, Madagascar, Wedding Crashers, The Game, Shawshank Redemption, anything funny or thought provoking

books~Blink, A Sweet Man-a biography of Duke Ellington, Catherine the Great,--I love reading. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow...walking 19 miles into the heart of Salvador, Brazil with some professors--all of the people and movement...the melding of cultures and socioeconomic differences was pretty breathtaking. Singing and playing for folks always leaves me grateful and fulfilled to the utmost. Hmmm....other than that, maybe being thrown out of a raft on the Arkansas River or climbing the incline-an outdated cog railway that leads to Pike's Peak-the view was extraordinary.

Teach, Learn, Share

Anyone with a story...which is everyone.
