Overview
About Me
I have lived, studied and traveled in a few corners of the world...but after several years staying put - try to get away for semi-regular adventuring. ...Happy to meet new folks and explore en route!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been fortunate enough to have hosted and been hosted by many wonderful people from all parts of the planet... it is always interesting to learn about other people's experiences! The best way to know a place and its flavour is to mingle with locals. CS provides a perfect opportunity to do just that.
Many moons ago, I volunteered a lot of time with an international student exchange organization (AIESEC) that had similar goals to CS, in terms of broadening opportunities, creating friendships and hosting international guests through a work exchange program.
I think we often tend to get wrapped up in our own lives, after settling into a spot for a while...so I see hosting as a way to keep the window open to adventure, by welcoming new people into "my world", so to speak...

Teach, Learn, Share
I do a lot of things, and am happy to share these activities and interests with most everyone! ...though I must admit to not always being the most patient of teachers...if you're game, I'm game!
