Hello!

My husband and I both grew up in Texas, but are currently residing in Florida with our two dogs and four pet rats (yes, we have pet rats). We have never really fitted in with social norms and are once more ready to do something new! We got married at 18 and 19, bought a house the following year, then the next year we decided we wanted to move to Florida, and almost a year after that we have decided that we want to see the world.

We still have a lot of things to get in order before we can begin traveling, but hope to be doing so in 12 months or less.

We are unable to host guest at our current place of residence, but if you are ever traveling in the Pensacola, FL area let us know and we would love to meet up and show you around!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have joined Couchsurfing because I want to be able to use it as a resource to not only travel the world, but to meet new people and create new friendships.

Music, Movies, and Books

My husband and I LOVE music and listen to a wide variety! Some of our favorites include The Killers, Blink 182, Iron and Wine, Grouplove, Twenty One Pilots, Band of Horses, Saintseneca, and soooo much more!

I am definitely a book worm and will admit that my favorite series is Harry Potter, but I will read almost anything and actually love reading historical books.

As far as movies, we don't watch a lot of TV but we do love the musical version of Les Miserables.
