I'm hoping to meet some interesting people for drinks or coffee in whatever location I'll be in over the next while, and do some more couchsurfing too!

Music, Movies, and Books

Interpol, PJ Harvey, Elliott Smith and Queens of the Stone Age are but a few of my favourites. Motown 50 is also amazing! The current Irish music scene has a lot to offer (here's to Messiah J and the Expert, Wallis Bird and The Holy Roman Army!). Last book that I read and loved was Captain Corelli's Mandolin but I'm also a big fan of much of the literature that I've studied - Beckett, Defoe, Synge, Friel, Bronte... can't wait to get my teeth into more other European literature!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking along the Rhine on a sunny summer afternoon and hearing someone in a tiny campervan play a mandolin. Beautiful!

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages are one of my main interests, so I'm always looking for tandem partners to learn from (usually German but I do want to pick up more French and some Italian eventually too!) and I'll do my best to help anyone with their English, and perhaps their German. Literature is another strong point. I'm a music freak so am keen to learn more about the cultural music scenes in different countries, and share what I already know.
