Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I enjoyed my 4 days at Alexandra's place in Chicago, as a first couch experience in was exceptional, I particularly enjoyed going to the theater with her, cooking crepes and sharing joyful meals. In Newark, Amy got up very early to prepare us a breakfast so that we could spend some time to know each other a little bit more. What I like is the open-hearted and deep conversations we have with people we meet sometimes for a couple of hours only. Couch surfing is just like magic.

Music, Movies, and Books
The very first movie I saw and loved forever was ET. I like Star Wars, a lot of French movies: the ones with Jaoui and Bacri, De Niro. Lately, I could see Encounter of the third type, ghost busters and Dogwood Day again: that was awesome! I also recently discovered Elizabethtown, Love song for Bobby Long...the list is non-exhaustive!
As for books, I would say travel books( reading Travels with Charley by Steinbeck right now),Paulo Coehlo, Nathalie Sarraute and some other Nouveau roman writers and celtic legends. I have a couple of books written by the Dalai Lama, everything that increases love and compassion has a place in my bookshelf.I am also found of linguistics and word histories.
I listen to all types of music from Classical to jazz, blues, pop...I just pick what I prefer and don't follow any stream.I try to change the CD of Elton john before my fiance notices a song has been played twice! I love listening a song again and again.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The amazing thing I saw was the eyes wide open of the pupils I taught last year while they were listening to a very good friend, Sam, talking about this trip around the world alone, I think Sam's eyes are pretty amazing too, they reflect kindness for all human beings.
The amazing thing I have done now is following my intuition and crossing the Atlantic ocean to start my own journey with my fiance.
