ABOUT ME

I love savoury food and movies that make me cry. I could talk all day and couldnt live in a world without trees or mountains. Jesse, the man I love, and I found ourselves in the presence of a third person, when our child was born last year. My days are filled with her, watching her grow and experience life around her. The fridge door opens, that was a big one. Grass is prickly, glacial water is COLD. To see the world through her eyes will continue to urge me on to live well with her and for her and show her all the beautiful things I can.

I like the instant connection I gained through CS with people I would have otherwise never met. I remember my hosts more than the city I was in or a street I walked, their smile, the good conversation we had, enjoying life from their perspective for a few days. I am excited for the future opportunities to see a place from the standpoint of someone who lives there and would love to share the place I find home with others.

I love the outdoors, any mode of experiencing it is great. The biggest downfall about traveling is having to leave my pillow at home. Other things that interest me are books that make me think about something a new way, well made music, two step dancing, good coffee and loose tea, bike riding with my husband and picking wild saskatoons by the river that flows near our home

Some of the best memories I have are of times in nature when I've found myself in a place that I wonder if anyone has ever been before, if any other eyes have ever seen a sunrise like that or heard the day waking up.
