About Me
I just moved back to the Charleston area from living in Japan for about two years. I'll go ahead and answer the question I get asked a lot even though I'm sure you can easily guess. The customer service and food were top notch! I moved back to my small town (smack-dab in the middle of Charleston, Columbia (SC), and Savannah (GA)) to help out family and for schooling. My mission is to not hate life in my tiny town when I've seen just a tiny portion of what the world has to offer. A break abroad or in another state with a local would be just what I needed ^-^
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Take your pick- interact with locals, have a budget friendly trip, all of the above.
I'm pretty go-with-the-flow, so if you're the type of host that likes to interact and spend some time with your guests, or if you have no time at all to be a guide- anything is fine with me. I like to accommodate the schedule of my host as much as I can since they allow me to stay with them.
Interests
I say that I like hip hop dancing, but I'm not very good and I have a story to back that up.
- motorcycles
- cultural immersion
- sightseeing
- eating
- travelling
- new experiences
Music, Movies, and Books
Music- Rock & Oldies are my favorite. I love dancing so of course r&b/hiphop/reggae; however, I can't dance and have a story to back that up. I'm into a little bit of everything. I won't complain if you put country on, but it's not my favorite ^-^;
Movies- Silence of the Lambs, She's the Man (from my teenage years. At this point it's just the nostalgia I'm holding onto because it's the only movie that really made me laugh out loud at the time). I refuse, REFUSE, to watch a tragedy-feelgood-nicholassparks-anythingwithanimals movie... unless there's a prize. All about the horror, comedy, rom-com, and action.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Spontaneous adventure- I love trying new things if they are down for it or have an idea of something new they want to do.
