Music, food, people, and photography feed my soul. I have a very laid back, relaxed demeanor. I'm kinda funny sometimes... but like... anecdotally. I love to go on road trips and explore new places - hence my CouchSurfing account. I've been into photography since I was 12 but unfortunately, I lost my dream camera to the ocean last year on a West Coast road trip *moment of silence*.

For the past three years I've been traveling the country for National Service positions, once in Montana as a tour guide, once in The Grand Canyon as a glorified weed puller, in Nevada working for a Refugee Resettlement Program, and now in DC working for an anti-hunger non-profit.

I'm an open book and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have if you'd like to know more.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

At least once a year, I take a couple weeks off work for a road trip. Some of the trips I've taken include driving across country four times, the West Coast from Olympic National Park in Washington to L.A., most of the National Parks in Utah, and many more - most of which I've taken by myself.

This year I'm planning to drive from Washington DC to New Orleans, LA sometime in August. I'd be eternally grateful for anyone willing to let me crash on a couch, pitch a tent in their yard, and/or show me around the city.

Interests

I love spending quality time with good people. Good people + good music + good food = Trifecta. It's the simple things, right?

I've been lucky enough to live in places where marijuana is decriminalized and/or recreationally legal for the past couple of years, so that's nice too.

Food:
Comfort/soul food of the southern variety is my weakness, but I can also get down with a good smoothie/juice. Ultimately, I just like food and I'll try anything twice.

I am more or less a book hoarder. I buy them faster than I can read them. I mainly stick to non-fiction, mainly related to sociology/philanthropy.
