Hello! My name is Katelyn and I am a Sociology student and English teacher. Along with my boyfriend, I have been traveling Africa and Brazil for the last eight months and am currently teaching in Cabo Frio, RJ. I love dogs, art, hip-hop, wine, culture, people, travel, and tea. We are quiet, warm, and laid back people who love nothing more than to chill. We are both currently doing our degrees while traveling, so we spend a lot of time writing and studying.
We have been to SP a few times and are so, so excited to come back - we love it!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

We have worked with WorkAway and had a great experience with that. Through this, we also learned about Couchsurfing from friends and had to give it a try. ; we love meeting new people and exploring new places from a completely local level of living. We cannot wait to return the favour and become Couchsurfing hosts one day soon! Currently, my boyfriend and I are relocating to São Paulo, Brazil.

Took an impromptu 10-day-long trip from Rwanda to Tanzania/Zanzibar in April 2017 by public transport. It was an enormous learning curve in my life and it's hard to put into words how brilliant the experience was.

We can teach you any English you would like to know or practice! We are also trying to develop our Portuguese, so we would love to take the opportunity to learn from a native speaker. Sharing is really anything for us: stories, advice, whatever!
