Overview
About Me
I am a student at the environmental liberal arts university, Green Mountain College in Poultney Vermont, studying Sustainable Community Development and Agroecology. I have moved 19 times growing up, through 9 states across the United States. I love the mountains, and everything pertaining to them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because the process of meeting locals and trusting strangers has brought me the best memories from traveling. My favorite memory is from during my gap year before starting college: I couch surfed in Sydney, Australia with an artist who was hosting four other people- a family from Poland and a women from Germany. Our host slept on the floor to give his guests the beds and couches. We all went dumpster-diving at some organic grocery stores one evening, gave back with a load of good food, and cooking together and shared a meal. I learned more about three different cultures that day then any book or classroom study could have taught me.
