HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted a few wonderful people, and this summer I stayed with a variety of people in Iceland, England, Wales, and Ireland.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The people my apartment has hosted are now my friends. The people I have stayed with allowed me amazing opportunties that made my trips amazing that I can affirmatively say I would have not had without them. That sums it up pretty well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went caving (actual caving were you crawl on your knees with a head lamp) in South Dakota, USA. At one point we all sat in this "room" in the cave and turned off our headlamps. This was the first and only time I have ever experienced total darkness. I kept expecting my eyes to adjust to the light, but my hand would be so close to my face that I could feel it but never see it. It was surreal to say the least.
